Matcha & White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g unsalted butter
  • 180 g light brown sugar
  • 80 g castor sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g self raising flour
  • 200 g plain flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 300 g white chocolate chip
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Sift flour, matcha, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.
  • Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Mix eggs and vanilla then gradually add dry ingredients.
  • Fold in white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Weigh 150g of dough, roll it into a ball, and repeat the process with the remaining dough. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours before baking.
  • Preheat oven to 180℃ and bake for 15 to 20 minutes

Notes

  • These cookies are quite large, so you can make them 75g instead of 150g. You can also halve the ingredients if you prefer a smaller batch.
